Abstract

Establishing a shared society is essential for fostering a healthier and more fulfilling community, highlighting the need for new knowledge. This research addresses challenges arising from the evolving dynamics of European society, particularly in the context of the largest migration crisis of the 21st century. The primary focus of this study is on the challenges faced by migrants impacted by the military conflict in Ukraine as they socialize and adapt in host countries. Over three months, we interviewed Ukrainian nationals residing in several European countries to identify the key obstacles in the integration process. Our analysis seeks to partially answer the question of which policies should be implemented to ensure that migrants feel safe and secure, thereby encouraging them to become active participants in a shared society where everyone enjoys equal rights, access to resources, and contributes to the community's overall well-being.
