Abstract
The paper examines the potential for the development of dual training for adults as an opportunity to gain professional qualifications and ensure employment. The article proposes options for the wider implementation of the dual system in the country in order to secure a skilled workforce for different sectors of the economy. The basis of the analysis is a review of publications in the field, as well as an online survey conducted in 2023 among companies participating in dual VET partnerships in Bulgaria.
